The Gospel: My only Hope.
How will
I make sense of my pain and tears
if Christ
has not walked through suffering Himself?
How will
I trust Him with the wounds of my soul
if He has
never carried wounds of His own?
But He
has.
He has
walked the road of sorrow.
He has
known rejection.
He has
wept.
He has
suffered.
And now
He does not merely tell me to endure—
He
promises to walk with me through it
until He
brings me into His presence,
where
suffering will have no more voice
and tears
will have no more place.
So I
hope.
How will
I silence the screams of this earthly body,
this body
that knows weakness, sickness, pain and decay,
if there
is no greater promise beyond this fragile life?
But
Christ has risen.
And
because He lives,
this body
is not the end of my story.
One day I
will put on a body like His
glorified,
imperishable,
untouched
by sickness,
unbroken
by death,
free from
the slavery of decay.
So I
hope.
How will
I keep fighting sin, shame and guilt
if Christ
is not my righteousness?
I cannot
save myself.
I cannot
cleanse myself.
I cannot
sanctify myself by my own strength.
But
Christ is my righteousness.
The One
who forgives me
is the
One who is changing me.
The One
who justified me
is the
One who is sanctifying me.
So I keep
fighting—not to earn His love,
but
because I have already been loved.
So I
hope.
And who
will bring peace to my anxious heart
as I try
to find my way toward tomorrow
in this
ever-changing world?
Wars rise
Technology
advances.
Artificial
intelligence reshapes our world.
Truth is
questioned.
Human
souls become increasingly distracted,
fragmented,
and
corrupted.
The world changes faster than my heart can understand.
So who
will hold me
when
everything I thought was stable begins to move?
Christ.
Because
my hope is not that the world will become predictable.
My hope
is that Christ reigns.
He reigns
now. And He will reign forever.
How will I fill this empty heart
that keeps reaching for love,
only to find loneliness and rejection?
How will I quiet the ache of being unwanted,
the longing to be known,
to be chosen,
to belong—
if Christ is not the One who calls me His own?
But He
is.
He knows
me completely,
and still He loves me.
He does not reject the broken,
He does not abandon the lonely.
He came near to those who had nowhere else to go.
And in
Christ,
I am not merely loved—
I am received.
So I
hope.
A Savior
greater than my sin.
A Healer
greater than every sickness.
A
Comforter greater than every sorrow.
A King
greater than every empire.
A Love
greater than every love this world can offer.
And
though I cannot fully understand all that He is doing,
I know
who He is.
So I hold
on and Cling to the Gospel
